CEDC Welcomes Additional Summer Intern

As the summer of 2022 started, CEDC was excited to welcome an intern to learn about how non-profits function, to be immersed in the local economy, and to get a hands-on experience in the many different facets of work that CEDC does. Not only were they lucky enough to have one intern to learn about communications, but they are also now welcoming another intern to the office to take a deep dive into real-world economics. Kevin Schanlaber will be working in the CEDC office gaining experience to bring back to his education at the University of New Hampshire. Kevin is currently studying Economics and will be going into his sophomore year.

Kevin is not only excited to put his education to work, but also to understand the inner workings of the non-profit world and gain a deeper understanding of microeconomics. Kevin initially became interested in Economics when he took a couple of intro courses in college that piqued his interest.

In his free time, he enjoys skiing, lifting, and golfing. One day he hopes to bring his interest abroad and play golf in Europe. In the future, Kevin aspires to mesh hobbies and work by providing economic analysis for golf courses.
