CEDC Welcomes Tim Egan to Board of Directors

Lancaster, NH –Coos Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), a non-profit organization that supports Coos County small businesses and fosters economic growth, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Egan to the Board of Directors.

Tim is Part-Time Faculty at Vermont State University. He is currently teaching courses at the Lyndon, Castleton and the Johnson campuses. He has been Co-Director of NVU’s incubator Without Walls, that supports small business development with experienced student labor. In 2022 he took the role of Part-Time Faculty Delegate and Castleton’s CSCP Internship Coordinator.

As a media consultant, he specializes in broadcast and web based video content services for marketing and media affairs practicing in New England, New York, Minnesota & Eastern Canada. Regionally he served two terms as President, was Founding Co-Chair of the Presidents Council, National Trustee in 2010-2012, and currently serves as Treasurer of the Boston/New England Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He has two New England Emmy Awards as Writer/Director/Producer, among his 28 Emmy Nominations during his 25 plus year media career in New England.

In 2018 he was elected to the NH House of Representatives for Grafton District #2. He’s a Business Representative on The NH/Canada Trade Council and the northern states Vice President for the New England Canada Business Council, a Board Member and Past-Treasurer for Catamount Arts in VT and PR/Event Advisor for Littleton Main Streets Inc.

When asked about his new appointment to the CEDC Board he had this to say:

"I'm very honored to be voted on to the CEDC, given their unique ability to help small businesses and support community economic impact. Living in the North Country is a special place, so helping my neighbors succeed and our neighborhoods stay resilient is an important goal of mine.”

Tim lives here in the White Mountains and is looking forward to joining CEDC efforts.
